Job Description
You will:
Conduct interpretive tours for the public about grizzly bear
biology, behaviour, the history of GBR, and human-wildlife coexistence
initiatives. Special tours of a similar nature may also be required for school
groups and other private groups.Assist the GBR Experience Supervisor, GBR Animal Welfare
Coordinator and Team Lead in providing care for Boo, the grizzly bear, through
the provision of food, water, hygiene, psychological enrichment, surveys, and
habitat improvement.Maintain database of bear behaviour, habitat statistics,
procedural matters, and other factors so it is accessible for GBR staff, KHMR
management, and provincial officials.Greet guests coming to the Grizzly Bear Refuge via the Catamount
Mid Station.Perform daily perimeter checks around the habitat.Ensure that all applicable wildlife protocols, procedures, and
