Chaminade College Preparatory is seeking a Groundskeeper I . The position is responsible for care, maintenance and development of the lawns, landscape beds, trees, irrigation systems and general grounds.

Responsibilities

• The position will operate and perform light-duty maintenance on tractors,
• Riding mowers, push mowers, weed eaters, edger, chain saws, backpack blowers, sprayers, rakes, shovels, and other small tools.
• Work is performed outdoors and some tasks may be required to be performed regardless of weather conditions.
• Will be exposed to loud noise, machinery with moving parts, dirt, dust, debris, chemicals, and foul odors.
• Will operate various hand tools, including but not limited to, extension trimmer, hedge trimmer, shovel, chain saw, weed eater, rakes, axe, Backpack sprayer, pressure washer, and stripper
