Responsibilities

• Measure and cut drywall panels to fit specific areas ensuring precise dimensions for a seamless finish
• Install gypsum board on walls and ceilings employing techniques that enhance structural integrity and aesthetics
• Apply joint tape and compound with skillful techniques to create smooth invisible joints between panels
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry or construction is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in gypsum carpentry or a closely related field
• Certification in drywall installation or related trade from a recognized institution is preferred
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance in all projects
