Responsibilities
Oversee the Health and Safety portfolio in the Engineering space. Develop and review H&S rules/ policies/ procedures. Facilitate H&S quarterly meetings. Conduct H&S audits. Arrange annual medicals for all employees. Initiate evacuation drills. Ensure H&S files/ reports are up to date. Involvement in engineering projects and continuous improvement engineering. Research and propose sustainability initiatives. Propose and implement engineering projects that drive sustainability. Monitor for any possible system deficiencies or areas of difficulty.
