The Opportunity
The Health and Safety Coordinator administers Health and Safety activities under the direction of the Executive Director of People & Culture on behalf of Benalla Health.
Key Responsibilities of the role will include;
· Improve the effectiveness of Health & Safety management systems and implement initiatives in consultation with the Executive Director – People & Culture;
· Provide support to all managers, supervisors and employees on their Health & Safety responsibilities;
· Conduct Orientation / Education Training as required;
· Undertake investigations into Health & Safety incidents and conduct risk assessment as required;
· Review and analyse emergency management plans and procedures and make recommendations to the Emergency Planning Committee;
