Position: Health & Wellness Specialist – New Hanover County Reports to: County Program Director Status: Part-Time Exempt: Hourly ($14 - $17 per hour) Primary Function The Health & Wellness Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating health and wellness programs at three New Hanover County elementary sites. This role focuses on promoting nutrition, physical activity, gardening, and overall wellness through engaging, hands‐on experiences. The specialist will work closely with staff, members, and community partners to foster lifelong healthy habits.
