About the opportunity:

We’re looking for a skilled Heavy Diesel Technician to join our clients team in Hamilton. In this role, you’ll be diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of heavy-duty diesel engines and systems, specialising in trucks and trailers. Your expertise will ensure our customers’ vehicles and trailers remain safe, reliable, and road-ready.

This is a permanent, full-time role (45 hours per week) with generally Monday to Friday hours, and occasional weekend work may be required.

Key duties:

• Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range truck and trailer units.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
• Perform major engine overhauls.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.
