This role combines hands-on mechanical work with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of machine operators, mechanics, and traffic control technicians. The Heavy Wheel Mechanic maintains strict compliance with safety and environmental standards, manages preventive maintenance schedules, and serves as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and transportation authorities.
