The
Hepatology Physician is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with liver diseases, including hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, autoimmune and genetic liver disorders, and liver cancer. The physician will provide both inpatient and outpatient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to research and education in hepatology to patients in the Palm Beach County area.
Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic liver diseases.
- Provide consultation services for outpatients with hepatic conditions.
- Manage pre- and post-liver transplant patients in collaboration with transplant teams associated with Tampa General Hospital.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as liver function panels, imaging studies, and liver biopsies.
