HGV Class 1 Driver - Permanent Role

Blue Arrow is proud to be working in partnership with one of the UK's leading commercial waste companies, converting household and commercial waste into renewable energy.
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a permanent opportunity based in Leyland.
The Role:
· Delivering recyclable waste between company sites
· Working on fixed routes - consistency in your daily schedule
· Start time approx. 07:00 - 16:45, Monday to Friday
· Required to work 20 Saturdays per year
Key Responsibilities:
· Complete daily vehicle checks
· Ensure vehicles are washed and cleaned weekly
· Maintain cleanliness of trailer/tipper body (regular sweeping required)
· Submit all paperwork daily to Operations
· Report any vehicle defects or issues promptly
· Take part in ongoing training
