**Position Objective:** Provide services as a High Throughput Experimentation Chemist in support of the overall functions of the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) within the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This role is supporting chemistry efforts which will be i) reaction optimization and ii) analogue synthesis to effectively standardize and optimize these workflows.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Synthesize and optimize chemical probes for potency and solubility.
+ Validate analysis methods for the quantification of cell kinetics.
+ Provide assay support and assay development for product release and characterization.
+ Perform both routine and specialized laboratory procedures.
+ Perform chemical and biochemical reactions and appropriate analytical analyses. 1
