About the job Do you have an inspection background in highways or a related area and looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy being out on site but would like a regular daytime working pattern and more freedom to manage your own workload? Reporting to the Inspector Team Manager, you will work individually or with another team member to complete asset condition and safety inspections, survey works and providing feedback on quality of asset repairs. We are recruiting for a field-based roles covering the Sandy and Newport Pagnell areas. You will carry out inspections across your designated patch throughout the working day. Working patterns can be flexible by agreement with the team manager but contractually your working hours per week will be 37 hours. There is also a requirement which may involve working unsociable hours, including nights, to respond to incidents.
