Lab Assistant – Oil Refinery Plant

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare samples of crude oil, refined products, and other materials for testing.
• Conduct routine laboratory tests to analyze product quality and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring calibration and proper functioning.
• Record and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in the development and implementation of laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab area and ensure proper storage of chemicals and samples.
• Support quality control and assurance teams in identifying and reporting deviations.
• Work collaboratively with the plant operations team to monitor product specifications and process improvements.
