Job Description
- Post Graduate Degree or Honours in Finance / Accounting / Commerce and CA(SA), or CIMA
- 8 to 10 years’ senior financial management experience explicitly within the mining or heavy industry sector.
- Proven leadership in finance and supply chain departments
- Proven track record in managing teams and directing senior finance professionals.
- Advanced proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like JDE, or similar accounting software
- Thorough knowledge of South African tax legislation, deferred taxation, VAT audits, and diesel rebates.
- In-depth understanding of IFRS, internal controls, and corporate governance.
- Expertise in budget preparation, 3-to-5-year business planning, forecasting, and contractor management.
