This position directs, manages, supervises, and coordinates the activities and operations of the Human Resources Division within the City Manager’s Office. Assumes responsibility for human resources policy development and administration, human resources program legal compliance, recruitment and employment programs, benefits administration, classification and compensation system administration, performance evaluation consulting, employee development programs, employee relations, workplace safety, employee services, and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the City Manager.
