Functions as a member of the patient care centered health team under the supervision of the Radiation Oncology Team and assisting in completing activities of daily operation and assuring patient safety. Assuring the safety and cleanliness of the Unit, as well as maintaining supplies and equipment. Relates to and assists patients, families, and other health care workers with respect and kindness.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Responsible for the preparation of the patients for the procedure

+ Works with the Radiation Oncology Team to facilitate patient handling, e.g. Bring patients to and from the dressing, exam rooms.

+ Initiates/Completes paperwork related to the exam/care of the patient as indicated by the Team.
