Job Summary: The CT technologist will demonstrate professionalism and service excellence when performing the following tasks. Obtains necessary medical, surgical and radiological supplies for specific procedures according to established protocols. Maintains sterility of field and instruments. Correctly prepares requisitions. Communicates to the patient and family before, during and after the procedure to alleviate anxiety while maintaining privacy and dignity of the patient. The technologist will adhere to all HIPAA regulations and respect the patients privacy. Verifies patient identification according to the AHS policy. Observes patient's condition before and after contrast injections and reports any sudden change to the nursing staff and Radiologist.
