**JOB SUMMARY**

This is an Operations position responsible for scheduling trucks for inbound product delivery and acting as a control point for the warehouse.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Schedules appointments for all incoming shipments, working with the Purchasing Department and various trucking companies.
+ Provides updated truck information to Purchasing Department every few hours.
+ Utilizes the Sysco Warehouse Management System (SWMS) to assist with the closing of purchase orders, as well as utilizes SUS and TMS daily for scheduling purposes.
+ Strategically schedules loads according to caps, load size, door availability, etc. and assigns inbound trucks to specific warehouse doors.
+ Tracks late carries and logs into SUS using correct reason codes
+ Maintains shellfish information and various other files to comply with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
