Texas Instruments is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Intern to be responsible for evaluating and supporting our manufacturing operations.
Shadow and support supervisors in overseeing daily production activities across assigned shifts or work cells
+ Coordinate crew assignments, material flow, and shift handoffs
+ Monitor production output, quality metrics, and downtime; compile and present findings to leadership
+ Participate in root cause analysis for production issues and contribute to corrective action plans
+ Build and maintain operational models to simulate and analyze production capacity, throughput, bottlenecks, and resource utilization
+ Optimize production schedules and workflows to improve line efficiency, reduce cycle time, and minimize idle time or WIP buildup
