Our Client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for an Industrial Engineer for their Ocala, FL location.

 

Responsibilities:

• Lead Kaizen events focused on the “6S wastes” and Value Stream Mapping. ( Quantify cost savings and productivity gains from each 6S and/or Value Stream improvement.


• Coach teams to own and sustain 6S practices.


• Build real time dashboards to track progress and drive corrective actions.


• Continuous Improvement Governance


• Maintain a suggestion system for frontline 6S ideas.


• Facilitate regular 6S review meetings and celebrate successes to reinforce cultural change.

 

Requirements:

• 5 years experience leading 6S/5S programs in large scale manufacturing.


• 5 years experience demonstrated success in redesigning plant layouts to support 6S and Lean flow.
