Summary

The Infection Control Coordinator assists with HAI prevention programs, acts as a resource for HAI surveillance reporting at the hospital level, participates in research projects, assists in the development and implementation of infection prevention policies and procedures, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Implements County, State, Federal, and regulatory agencies'¢ requirements and guidelines and particularly the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, AHCA and Occupational Safety Healthcare Administration (OSHA).
