Job Description
Job Description - Help define the technology roadmap and standards for database technologies covering traditional RDBMSs as well as modern NoSQL / specialized databases
- Implement and maintain full operational lifecycle procedures from deployment, to maintenance/patching, backup/recovery and decomm using extensive automation
- Provide 24x7 operational support of database systems with responsibility for uptime, overall system performance, identifying root cause and implementing improvements to avoid recurrence
- Perform security compliance activities, e.g. security reviews, implementing security controls, logging etc.
- Provide end-to-end support and advisory including support required by application developers
- Any relevant ad-hoc duties
