**THIS IS A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT POSITION.**

**Primary Function/General Purpose of Position**

The Inpatient Surgical Liaison position in the Surgery Department will be primarily responsible for coordinating surgical family communication;(in/outpatient, families surgeons) and throughput in addition to intermittent surgery scheduling, cancelling, and rescheduling appointments for all inpatient and outpatient procedures. This position is the scheduling HUB for scheduling surgeries at St. Joseph Warren Hospital and Howland Surgery Center. This is a mobile position requiring surveillance of ACC, PAT, Howland Surgery Center, Fastrack and Surgical Waiting room. This position is responsible for posting and reconciling charges daily.
