Overview

The Inspector I performs basic inspection work in petroleum, petrochemical, gas, grain, oils and fats terminals and refineries; also performs inspection work on board barges and ships following industry standards and the procedures published by API, Fosfa, Gafta and Saybolt.

Responsibilities

• Assist other inspectors from the department and Account Managers in responsible duties at the location.
• Ensure efficient work within the location to meet client needs accurately and in time.
• May work at different locations and on offshore operations as requested by the company.
• Carry out functions primarily within port activity and, when required, offshore on high seas; ensure standby services are provided as part of the job description.
• Operate the location at the lowest possible cost while meeting safety, quality of service, and asset maintenance requirements.
