Summary This position is located within the Workforce Development Division, Learning Solutions Branch. The incumbent serves as the lead analyst, course/program designer, or contract manager for major projects including development, delivery or evaluation of courses or instructional packages. Responsibilities The incumbent assesses the strengths and weaknesses of alternative methods for job-based teaching/learning, including resident classroom-based, computer-based instruction, simulation, virtual instructor-led and other self-paced instruction. The incumbent assesses the procedures, methods, and results of job cognitive task analyses and their utility for the development of instructional packages. Resolves conflicts in the design and development of training system methodologies; and coordinates information regarding any training issues evolving as a result of new, pending regulations.
