Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will provide instrumentation engineering support to NASA’s Glenn Research Center (GRC) for hydrogen / oxygen regenerative fuel cells in lunar applications. This includes basic analytical work, experimental design, test stand build-up, and testing for electrochemical, electrical, fluidic, and thermal (including cryogenic) components and sub-systems.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience designing, assembling, and operating test benches and/or calibration stands for specialized instruments. Experience developing and executing calibration protocols to ensure measurement accuracy and precision. Strong experience with selecting and operating components in hazardous environments as described in Article 500 of NFPA 70.Other Desired Skills:
