Our client BAE Systems is currently seeking an Integration Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is based at the MISC Facility, Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth. This position involves hybrid arrangements, requiring you to be fully on-site. The duration of the contract is 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the UK MOD test and integration facility
- Testing new pieces of equipment to ensure functionality
- Maintaining the facility to ensure it is operational
- Overseeing GFE and servers owned by the MOD
- Installing firewalls and modifying networks
- Managing cabling requirements
- Applying patches and updates
- Monitoring server parametrics, including heat output
- Recalculating room changes based on parametric data
- Monitoring equipment, logging data, and analysing trends and patterns
