Role Summary
The Interior Designer is responsible for creating functional, safe, and aesthetically appealing indoor spaces. You’ll manage projects from concept to completion, balancing client vision, budget, building codes, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities 1. Client & Concept Development - Meet with clients to determine needs, preferences, budget, and project scope.
- Conduct site visits and take measurements, photos, and notes of existing conditions.
- Develop mood boards, color palettes, and concept presentations to communicate design intent.
2. Design & Documentation - Create 2D floor plans, 3D renderings, and detailed drawings using software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max.
- Select furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, materials, and color schemes that align with concept and budget.
- Specify products and prepare schedules for FF&E: Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment.
