**The Impact You Will Make in This Role:**

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** **:**

+ Work in a team environment to learn about GIS while conducting basic spatial analysis, queries, and data visualization to support departmental projects.
+ Assist with the creation, updating, editing, and maintenance of geospatial datasets using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related tools.
+ Perform data entry, digitizing, and compilation of spatial features from various sources (e.g., easement documents, as-builts, field notes, online sources).
+ Perform QA/QC on GIS data and assist in resolving data discrepancies.
+ Provide GIS support to other departments (e.g., Real Estate and Right of Way, Environmental, Vegetation Management, Telecommunications, Economic Development) as needed.
