The Rhodes African Studies Centre invites suitably qualified candidates to join their team.
To provide effective and efficient financial and administrative control and reporting for the Centre in accordance with the University’s policies and procedures and according to the funder’s requirements and deadlines, and to produce accurate and time‑ous financial reports, prepared in accordance with the funder’s and the University’s guidelines. Simultaneously, to provide administrative support to the Director of the Centre, the postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows of the Centre, and academic members and other individuals/groups requiring the services/products of the Centre.
A minimum of Grade 12 (preferably with Accounting) plus approximately 4 years’ relevant experience, where such experience includes:
