DutiesPractical Leader will help conduct practicals (2 hours per week). During the practicals, they will answer student questions about course material and help students with their numerical assignments. The practical leader will also help with oral exams to be conducted over three days during the exam period in December. Minimum Qualifications Enrolment as an undergraduate or graduate student preferentially in physics, astronomy, or computer science at UofT, extensive experience with python3 and jupyter notebooks, a good understanding of computational methods and their mathematical foundations. Preferred Qualifications Relevant CriterionPrevious experience is the more relevant criterion than the need to acquire experience in respect of this posted position.
