NewZealand Police are working with the community to make NewZealanders safe and feel safe. Our National Organised Crime Group (NOCG) operates in Auckland, Wellington, Hamilton, Tauranga and Christchurch and is mandated by central government to detect, investigate, confront, prosecute and disrupt serious and organised criminals, including those in financial crime. The role is a hybrid investigator / authorised officer working with the High‑Tech Crime Group to identify technical lines of enquiry and facilitate access to investigative tools and subject‑matter experts.
You will use your existing IT knowledge and gain expertise in digital investigations, including computer forensics, network forensics, forensic data review and mobile‑device forensics. Internal and external partnerships are key focus; you will collaborate with multiple Police departments and external partners.
