Overview

Job Description — IP Semiconductor Service Engineer needed for on-site support of new equipment installations and maintenance at various European-based customer sites. Semiconductor Service engineers repair, service and optimise Canon’s semiconductor machines at customer sites. The engineer will work on various kinds of Canon semiconductor equipment and collaborate with customers to maintain uptime of busy production equipment. Interaction with customers is essential in the job, so a positive outlook and flexible approach are required. Travel to various European sites will be required.

Responsibilities

• Service – Provide service support to customers in line with service guidelines and good practice, including on-site machine inspection, machine testing and quality checking, machine repairs, fault diagnosis, ordering parts as necessary, and follow-up support to meet customer needs.
