Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Prepare test cases, test scripts, and test data.
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems such as software defects, bugs, functionality issues, and output errors; collaborate with developers to find solutions and develop retesting procedures.
• Perform functional, automation, component, system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Coordinate with developers, data analysts, business analysts, and business users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Notify the Software Test Lead or Senior Tester of any major issues that may arise during testing.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
