Technical Skills

Strong hands on experience with

IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS)

or Tivoli Workload Scheduler.

Experience in enterprise job scheduling concepts:

Job streams

Calendars

Dependencies

Event based scheduling

Familiarity with

Linux/Unix and Windows environments .

Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Bash, or similar) is an advantage.

Understanding of databases (Oracle, SQL Server) from a scheduler integration perspective.

Process

Tools

Experience working in

24x7 production support environments .

Knowledge of

ITIL processes

(Incident, Problem, Change Management).

Experience with ticketing tools such as

ServiceNow .
