JOB DESCRIPTION

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own New Zealand tax and compliance end‑to‑end — manage IRD filings and deadlines with rigor to avoid penalties, and handle VAT/GST/FBT/BAS as relevant across ANZ.
  • Lead month‑end close and core management reporting (including twice‑monthly forecasts and weekly ACV reporting), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Act as custodian of the General Ledger—accurate postings, robust documentation, and correct account usage.
  • Analyse results critically to understand business impacts and support audit/management reporting and ad hoc analyses (reconciliations, pricing calculations).
  • Drive process improvement—assess and streamline manual, legacy workflows (especially month‑end) in a non‑automated SAP environment.
