Job Description

Overview

As a Junior Ergonomist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the employees are provided with an environment that is both safe and healthy. You'll carry out risk assessments to identify hazards, review work practices and recommend changes as required. Additionally, you'll ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1998 (OHS Act) by conducting ergonomic assessments in line with relevant legislation such as the World Health Organisation's International Labour Organisation's (ILO) guidelines on workplace health and safety. You will also have to undertake detailed ergonomic investigations into specific risks or problems identified during your reviews in order to make appropriate recommendations for improvement.
