As a Kaitiaki at our Summerset in the Bay Village, you’ll play an important role in supporting the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle possible for our Care Centre residents. You’ll be part of a close-knit team, focused on person-centred care and enhancing the wellbeing of every resident.

This role includes a strong focus on mobility support, recreation, and mealtime care – all guided by structured morning and afternoon shift schedules.

Typical duties include:

• Supporting residents with meals and drinks, including one-on-one help where needed
• Assisting residents to follow their mobility therapy plans (e.g., walking, gentle exercise)
• Providing emotional support to residents who may feel anxious, isolated or confused
• Helping maintain a safe environment, especially for those at risk of falling
