Our Client, a IT Services company, is looking for a L1 Data Center Technician for their Reno, NV location.

 

Responsibilities:

• Install Servers and Switches


• Troubleshoot Servers and Switches


• Test Servers and Switches


• Inspect servers and switches to make sure that they are not damaged in any way.


• Smoke test servers to ensure that server is functioning as intended.


• Install servers and switches and cable it according to provided wire map.


• Make sure that all cables ran are bundled neatly and in accordance with client standards.


• Double check with network admins to make sure everything is cabled correctly, and all connections are up.


• Install additional components needed (NIC, Drive, Memory)


• Assist in unboxing and prepping servers as needed


• Auditing of servers and consumables


• Data Center Operations
