Labor And Delivery, Recovery, Antepartum, Postpartum (LDRP) Night Shift

Full Time Night Shift, 1900 - 0730. 72 hours per pay period (three 12hr shifts week). Holiday rotation, weekend & on-call requirements.

Job Summary

Family Center is a 27 bed unit specializing in couplet care, newborn assessment services and antepartum patient services. The LDRP Nurse will work with labor and delivery services excluding triage and circulating.

The RN independently provides patient care using the nursing process and performs leadership and teaching duties necessary that supports effective patient care. Supports and participates in continuous quality improvement activities. Functions within the limits of the State and Federal licensing, regulatory bodies and hospital policies.

Essential Functions:

• Assesses the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning of patients according to nursing standards.
