Job Responsibilities

• Analyze all nickel ore samples including shipment using XRF daily.
• Perform daily quality control using CRMs and In-House standards to check XRFs credibility.
• Organize and delegate work to direct subordinates.
• Receives, examines and records through log-in process inbound items for testing.
• Performs testing of samples and quality control specimens using specified methodology.
• Maintains documentation, equipment and work areas in a neat and orderly condition.
• Coordinate with the On-Duty Chemist if discrepancies are found on samples, procedures and methods upon examination.
• Performs other related functions as necessary.

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of BS in Chemical Engineering; Chemistry or any related courses
• With experienced working in nickel laterite mining is an advantage
• Licensed Chemist or Licensed Chemical Technician
