Overview Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures. Responsibilities a) As a generalist; performs all routine and other procedures. b) Correct procedures done and 100% accuracy within procedure limits, and turnaround as stated in the procedure manual. c) Pending lists are reviewed with proper hand off to the next shift. d) Follows policies for specimen rejection. e) Works only within the scope of training and regulation. f) Performs other duties as assigned by the CLS in charge, supervisor or Director. g) Sets priorities for the workload to assure that we meet out TAT standards for our ER Initiative and morning draws. h) Help with venipuncture and specimen processing when needed.
