Position: Pathologists' Assistant

Location: Columbus, OH

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Day shift, 5x8 hours (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM)

Traveler Status: Unit accepts first-time travelers (preference for experienced travelers)

Work Setting & Responsibilities:

  Assignment based in the Doan Lab, receiving specimens from the University Hospital OR

  
  


• 
  

  Case mix is approximately 95% benign lesions, with some colon cancer resections and native livers

  
  


• 
  

  Involvement in procurement for research, including selecting tissue from POCs for karyotyping

  
  


• 
  

  Biopsy grossing as needed based on staffing
