Roles and Responsibilities:
The Surveyor is responsible for surveying works during the full phases of a construction project, ensuring that all measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites are accurate.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:
- Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Prepare and maintain sketches, maps and reports of surveys to describe, certify and assume liability of work performed.
- Compute geodetic measurements and interpret survey data to determine positions, shapes and elevations of geomorphic and topographic features.
- Locate and mark sites selected for geophysical prospecting activities such as efforts to locate petroleum or other mineral products.
