Job Description
Location: MTL Advanced. Rotherham
Hours: Friday - Sunday 6am-6pm - plus one 8 hour shift midweek
Salary: £18.65-£22.44
About the Role
Operate hoist / crane to load sheet steel onto laser bed Setting the machine up for cutting Unloading parts and unused sheet steel and storing Ensure Laser Machines are supplied with the correct materials Ensure material is checked for size, thickness and grade prior to cutting Cut and shape the correct materials according to engineer drawings Inspect finished components; Marking up of cut parts, cleaning and fettling products Ensure parts and sheets are handled and labelled correctly Ensure the parts are routed correctly to the next department / team About You
