Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate or counsel with 4-7 years of substantive transactional experience in Portland, ME. The role involves working with a diverse mix of borrowers and lenders in various financing transactions, including secured, unsecured, asset‐based, mezzanine, bilateral, syndicated, receivables financing, acquisition financing, cross‐border financing, restructurings, and workouts. Duties Structure, document, and manage financing transactions from term sheet to closing. Collaborate with borrowers and lenders on diverse financing transactions. Engage in restructuring, workout, and bankruptcy matters as needed. Requirements 4-7 years of substantive transactional experience in debt finance. Proven interest in managing financing transactions. Experience in restructuring, workout, and bankruptcy is desirable. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
