Provides legal counsel on an assigned basis to members of management and various departments concerning areas of particular expertise. Oversees and evaluates the performance and progress of outside counsel representing the company in department-specific matters. Evaluates, determines, and coordinates the appropriate action/position/ response to be taken by the company. Acts on behalf of the company and participates in the negotiations and drafting of legal documents.
