Summary About the position: This is a RFT (full-time) position located at the Fitness and Sports Center on Joint Base Langley-Eustis VA - Ft Eustis location. Position is guaranteed 35 hours per week. This position may be subject to holidays, nights, weekends and on-call work. This position comes with Benefits and Compensation. Responsibilities As a working leader, one will be expected to perform the following duties: Distribute and balance workload among other Recreation Assistants (Fitness and Sports Instructors). Observe work in progress, production, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Conduct, teach, and lead group exercise classes. Demonstrate a command of effective class format, leadership skills, and sensitivity to all levels of fitness. Demonstrate knowledge in exercise physiology, kinesiology, injury prevention, cardiovascular, and medical considerations.
