About The Role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Technician (Supervisor) to join our growing team in Brighton. As a Lead Technician you will assist the Senior Facilities Manager with mobilising the hard facilities management services to the University of Sussex while the new West Slope student accommodation is being built.
What you'll be doing
- To establish a new effective and competent team to deliver the pre-planned and reactive maintenance activities to the West Slope student accommodation development.
- Work in conjunction with the East Slope team to support a collaborative approach and support with ad-hoc requirements on East Slope as required by the business.
- To lead the coaching, training, and development of the maintenance team and ensure they are fully trained and competent.
- To be appointed as Authorised Person for relevant duties such as LV electrical, mechanical and working at heights.
