(What the role is) This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Live Events and Technical Theatre in the School of Film & Media Studies.
(What you will be working on) Teaching and Curriculum Development
- Develop and deliver curriculum for Stage & Live Events–related modules across diploma and adult learning programmes, with specialisation in Technical Theatre, Production Management and/or Theatre Drafting.
- Conduct hands‑on training in live event and technical theatre practices, including production planning, stage operations, venue workflows, technical documentation, and show coordination.
- Guide students in the planning, management, and execution of live productions, events, and performances.
- Mentor and supervise students in industry projects, productions, and event‑based learning activities.
